Very clean rooms, the beds are comfortable and there's a good silent for sleep and rest, affordable prices and very good location, recommended 100%

The Hotel California has two buildings - the older, main building and a newer building with nicer (and more expensive) rooms. Reviews and info for the two should not be combined, because they are dramatically different.
Main building - small rooms, a one-foot step-up to the bathroom that could be dangerous, difficult and/or impossible for the elderly or handicapped, very firm (i.e. hard) beds, occasional but very loud plumbing noises in the walls, ancient TV.
On the positive side, the staff are very friendly, there is an Oxxo convenience store near the parking lot entrance, nearby ATMs and places to eat, and it is in walking distance from Plaza 5 de Mayo, the Mercado Municipal and downtown businesses.
Just be aware that the discount hotel prices are not for rooms in the newer, nicer building. There are other, better options for economical lodging in Navojoa.

Everything seens perfect on it; on tucson Arizona, room 204 and the service was very nice.
