Los Amantes has a really cool vibe. It's a small but intimate setting and the staff are very knowledgeable regarding different types of mezcal and the process that goes into making it. We were lucky enough to have Said serve us and he was spectacular! He gave us tips on how to pick out different notes from our mezcal tasting flights and gave us a small slideshow presentation on how mezcal is made. He also answered any and all questions we had regarding fun places to go in Oaxaca. All in all, this place is highly recommended.

Lovely small mezcaleria. They are now open on Mondays and Tuesdays as well. They have cocktails and live music (a guitar player) from Wednesdays on. My fav was Tobala, but Cuishe, Reposado and Añejo are great as well. It was great to try mezcals from different plants. Highly recommend it.

If you like aged mezcal they have some good stuff. If you like joven try some of the mezcal bars.
