This is a simple, clean, unpretentious place with tasty seafood and friendly service. We had the tikin xic fish fillet (prepared in a red sauce with roasted red pepper and onion...not baked dry as it's done elsewhere), fish tacos and octopus tostada. Tamarindo water was good...neither too sweet nor watered-down. A couple of locals came in while we were there. Both had the caldo de mariscos (seafood soup).
Lunch for two: 220 pesos plus tip. The place is in the inland part of Puerto Morelos. It's just a few meters from the highway between Cancún and Playa del Carmen so there's a lot of road noise.
