Rented an econo box from them and had no issues with the car. I got upsold slightly on some extra insurance for $200 USD. When I returned the car they asked for $500 USD for the extra insurance. I argued with them and they agreed to bring it down to the proper $200 USD then got my credit card bill and $500 was ran through on it. I have the original receipt and they doctored it and now I am arguing with them back home to get my money back.
Thankfully I kept the original signed receipt and when they presented the receipt from the branches side it was altered. This is fraud so please be careful and keep all your paperwork, take photos before and after you return the car, then check your credit card bills.
I have never had an issue with renting vehicles before, just please be cautious no matter who you rent from.

Nuestra experiencia alquilando un coche en National Car Rental (Puerto Vallarta) fue la peor que hemos vivido en todos los años que llevamos viajando y alquilando coches.
En primer lugar alquilamos un coche 'supuestamente' NUEVO (Que ni por asomo era nuevo ni supuestamente) era un Nissan Tsuru, que cada vez que lo usábamos olía a gasolina y teníamos que ir con las ventanillas abiertas para no intoxicarnos.
En segundo lugar nos cambiaron el coche ya que nos quejamos y nos dieron otro igual, o peor mejor dicho.
En la entrega como ya se sabe hacen una inspección de lo que tiene (defectos) y en nuestro caso el vehículo venía sin tapacubos (comúnmente llamado en mexico tapones) en las ruedas, no le dimos importancia ya que teníamos un seguro de 'A TODO RIESGO Ó TAMBIÉN LLAMADO -PROTECCIÓN TOTAL-' que no cubre -ABSOLUTAMENTE NADA Y RECALCO EL NADA- por que nos ha dejado con el culo al aire por la -NEGLIGENCIA DE LA PERSONA QUE NOS ALQUILO EL COCHE Y DE ESTA COMPAÑÍA.
Nosotros por nuestra experiencia no volveríamos a alquilar en esta compañía otro vehículo y espero que no le tomen el pelo a nadie mas.
