We chose this location because we were driving north to San Blas and therefore wouldn't have to deal with the heavy traffic of the downtown or Old Town areas.
The rental car (a Chevy Aveo) was clean and everything worked well. I thought the rental price was a good value and would use Sixt again.
The rental desk is just inside the Grand Velas reception lobby and the agent made our rental fast and easy; no hard sell on extra insurance or any other unexpected adders to the rental (which was done online). We verified with the agent that Sixt at this location would be open for return of the car until 5pm on a Saturday, but when we arrived at about 4pm no one was there and the staff at Grand Velas suggested returning the car to the downtown office which was not part of the plan. When I objected the super staff at the Grand Velas called Sixt for me and got permission to accept the rental on Sixt's behalf. It all worked out.
