Sólo una vez he visitado este hotel y mi experiencia no es tan mala. Las habitaciones están confortables en todo lo que cabe y su personal es amable ante todo.

I stayed at this Hotel for a total of 3 nights. And let me tell you, I had a great experience. The rooms could do a remodel or upgrade, but for the price...you can't beat it. Keep in mind that your room will not have the a/c on when you get here. So I suggest, that you leave your stuff in your room turn the a/c on then go out on a stroll to down town which is only 3 blocks away. Or you could take the elevator to the third floor then take the stairs to the roof. Don't take the elevator to the 4th floor, there'll just be a locked door. The roof is very open and you can see the big oil tankers coming in to the port. You can also see the Cross and the Light House perfectly from up there. There is a very nice restaurant in the ground floor (which has a breakfast buffet on Sunday mornings) that offers room service to your door from 7am to 11pm for free you only get charged what you consume.
Another great thing is that they have security at the front door all night long, and if you keep your car on the street he will keep an eye on your car all night long also. One thing to keep in mind, I was told that it is normal to leave your room key at the front desk while your are out in the city, so you don't carry this single key on a huge piece of plastic. This hotel is just north of the tunnel that brings you in to Salina Cruz. One other pointer...to use the a/c, stand directly in front of the unit and point the control to it or it won't work. So, for your next trip to Salina Cruz, think Hotel Maria del Carmen.
