Beautiful nature walk, children loved seeing all the different cactus and creatures that live there. Lovely indoor garden. Toilets on site are very clean. Only dropped a star for the cafe on site, we were hoping to get a snack and drink but choice was very poor. They only had boiled veg and mole. Definitely had the potential to offer more choice!

Amazing place. High chaparral ecosystem. Nice walking trails. Interesting micro-climate exhibits. Interesting cultural displays built into the landscape. Amazing views of the city and surrounding areas, as well as the distant mountain ranges. I took the guided tour on one of my visits and the guide was amazing.

This place is so beautiful during the rainy season (June - September). There is so much serenity walking through the pathways near the gorge. The only thing that is missing is the adequate signage to alert the visitor of hazards throughout the walkways and a proper food stall which ironically did not sell the basic bottled water but instead caned fruit juice. But this place is definitely worth a visit while in SMA.

It would take a full length essay to describe how special this place is. Geographically adjoining San Miguel de Allende, it features numerous Mexican ecosystems ranging from local flora to nearly extinct to plant varieties from all of the country's many municipalities. The spectacular "canyon" offers views unlike any other. The river that created it frequently ponds making great places to sit and just enjoy. At the far west, the city vista is remarkable. Centrally located is a lake with a considerable variety of fauna. Views along the trail are numerous. The conservatory and ruins are also really special. A "hidden" gem in SMA.
