My boyfriend Dick, asked me to post a review for him about his experience in Tijuana, because the staff at Bariatric Surgery 4 Health was a big help to him. Originally, he had gotten up to 360 pounds, had gone on many diets, and had lost as much as 65 pounds at a time. However, he always ended up gaining the weight back, plus more. Finally, he went to Tijuana, and had the gastric sleeve surgery done, resulting in a weight loss of over 150 pounds, in about 18 months. The loss was very dramatic. Dick says that what made it easy, was that the amount of food he could eat was greatly reduced, he did not feel very hungry, and although he ate very little, his energy level stayed high. However, after the first 18 months, he leveled off, and then he started to slowly put weight back on. In a year, he gained back about 40 pounds. He was still much smaller than he was before the surgery, but was not happy about the weight gain. He consulted with the patient coordinator at Bariatric Surgery 4 Health, and found they could greatly help him. First, although his stomach volume was still much smaller than before, still not eating that much, he had fallen into bad eating habits. They clinic coached him into a good rhythm of physical activity, plus he learned to eat multiple times a day, and eating the right things. He had previously looked at the surgery as a cure-all, but now sees it serves as a tool, helping change his life style. He has now dropped 25 pounds in 3 months, and is finally reaching his goal. We want to thank Diana at Bariatric Surgery 4 Health, for helping Dick get back on track. She has been very encouraging, and held him accountable to correct his eating habits. One other note, Dick says that because of the sleeve, even though he had started to gain weight again, he found it much easier to get things back under control, and lose the weight again.

I have good experience with Samaritan Medical. I must say Samaritan Medical Group was made best Plastic surgery in Tijuana. All Doctors were very skilled and friendly. They did best job ever. I definitely recommended them.

I was having some face pain which I assumed was my wisdom teeth. After an X-ray that was confirmed. Because I didn't want to pay American prices, I decided to look for a surgeon in Tijuana. A quick Google search helped me to find Perfect Smile Dental.
I worked with Dr. Alejandra by phone and email to determine pricing and schedule a date. She sent me a picture of their shuttle driver and told me where to park on the US side of the border. The driver arrived promptly on time and transported me to the clinic.
Upon arrival I was greeted very warmly by the office manager and by Dr. Alejandra. Every other employee who walked by also greeted us. A few minutes after arriving they did a panoramic 3D CT Scan of my head to use in planning the surgery.
A few minutes later, Dr. Raul and one of his assistants took me upstairs to their surgery suite and did a very comprehensive exam on me with pictures and X-rays. Dr. Alejandra came upstairs and showed me all of the pictures and the resulting work they needed to do. Sadly it turned out that on top of having impacted wisdom teeth I also had 9 cavities and tartar build up. Fortunately they were able to do all of the work in the same day.
Dr. Raul did the 9 fillings and cleaning and then we took a break. And then the oral surgeon came up and did the surgery.
The surgery went great. It was terrible to hear my tooth being ground up while I was awake but otherwise the surgeon did a superb job removing very impacted teeth. In fact he said I was one of the most complicated cases he's ever done because my wisdom teeth roots were wrapped around my jaw. I was in a bit of pain immediately after the surgery but today I feel fine.
Their office has state of the art equipment, super nice staff and they even have flat screen TVs with music and Netflix. I highly recommend Perfect Smile Dental.
