Very quite and relaxing location , the hotel lawn was great and the kathmandu city view from there. The hotel offers quality food with all basic facilities and your guide to show around the area along with mini cab. However the road to the hotel is bumpy and dusty. I hope the road gets better soon.

Has good food both local and continental. Good ambience. Its quiet here. Away from city but has a great view of city and the outskirts with himalayas.

For staying in Kathmandu region before leaving to Pokhara for trekking we decided to stay in Bhaktapur and travel one day to Kathmandu. This was a good decision - especially becaue of great Hotel Plant Bhaktapur.
A small oasis beside crazy city Kathmandu and Bhaktapur (which is beautiful but chaotic also). The rooms are clean, the restaurant is very good (we chose the "Nepali menu" both evenings - a "bigger Dal Bhat" with Curd as desser - great!) and the service is really great! We got countless tipps for travelling, they booked our domestic flights (much more cheaper than from Germany), they organized shuttle from/to airport and private shuttle for sightseeing.
Can't think of any better place for first days in Nepal. Thank you!!!
