It is located in peaceful environment, Perfect for the yoga! Teacher is highly qualified and you can get classes in cheap price. Highly recommended.

My favourite yoga studio in Thamel! They run classes 3 times a day so you can basically choose any style of Yoga you like. I have always found the teachers to be very high quality and the price to be very reasonable. Spend some time practising your Yoga while in Nepal.

I purchased a 6-class pass for Charak Yoga, and used one class right away. I paid 3000 rupees, or 500 rupees per class, and I was given a stamp card with numberedd circles for them to cross off as the classes were used.
I came back about a week and a half later to take another class and I was told that my card was invalid, as the person who issued it to me had not written my name down. The host kept pointing to the paper on the desk that said "passes are not transferable", thinking that because my name wasn't on the pass, it wasn't mine. I told him this was the card I'd paid for and been given, but he wouldn't let me use it, he kept saying it wasn't valid as my name hadn't been written on it by a Charak Yoga employee.
I'm staying in Nepal for 6 months and won't go back to Charak Yoga now, even though they would have had my business otherwise.
So, a warning! If you are planning on getting a 6- or 12- class pass, make sure your name is written on the stamp card, or you will have spent a lot of money needlessly!
