Join us to experience some profound moments of your life on this 14-day Everest Base Camp Trek. One of the most adventurous treks of the Khumbu region of Nepal, the trip will take you on stunning mountainous trails in a jaw-dropping landscape.
Not only will you scale to the base of the highest mountain in the world, but also get to see the culture and lifestyle of the native people living close to the Himalayas.
We’ll start and end our journey in the capital city of Kathmandu. From there, you’ll board a scenic flight to Lukla and head to Phakding, to begin the trek. Walking through a beautiful lush forest and crossing many rivers, you’ll reach the beautiful Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar.
We have reserved rest days at Namche Bazaar and Dingboche, so you don’t really have to worry about acclimatization.
The trail further leads onto Khumbila, which is considered the holy mountain of the Sherpa people. Continuing further, you’ll cross many picturesque villages including Tengboche, Dingboche and Lobuche and see the Tengboche monastery before reaching Gorakshep.
You’ll be greeted with divine views of towering peaks throughout the journey. The trail leads through the Pangboche village, the largest settlement of the Sherpa people before we get to the Everest Base Camp. The Everest Base Camp hike will take place from Gorakshep.
And what a feeling would it be to get to the base camp! The top offers stunning views of many majestic Himalayan peaks including Mahalangur, Pumori, Khumbutse, Nuptse and Everest itself.
Before getting back, we’ll hike to Kala Pathar to witness a stunning sunrise and then return to Lukla and board yet another scenic flight to Kathmandu, ending this incredible trek.
