We dropped by at 6:00 PM on Tuesday the Tuesday the 4th of April, and it looked like the place had permanently shut down. The inside was bare.

Friendly enough staff, but this strikes me as a place for a beer if anything ... the afternoon apple pie was served frozen (though helpfully warmed on request, giving the whipped cream just enough time to get somewhat melted). The neighborhood has a lot of other spots. I probably wouldn't put down my honey for food here given the options around.

Found this place from a local musician. If your looking for a jazz jam session, there is one here on Sunday nights. This cafe had a decent selection of beer and a laid back setting.

Awesome friendly service, I fell in love with the waitress ... her sense of humor made me cry from laughter.
The food was orgasmic, generous portions!
Location couldn't have been better, so close to the Heineken experience for a quick bite.
If you're in Amsterdam, that's the place where you want to go for food!
