NOT at Centraal Station. The website says that "The Sixt branch at the Amsterdam Central Train Station", but this is a lie. The branch is not at the station. The location of this is actually at a hotel near the station.
I mistakenly booked this thinking that it is closer than Enterprise. Enterprise and SIXT are in the EXACT same garage, but SIXT misrepresents that they are in Centraal Station, which is a lie.
Customer service is appallingly poor, with no answers to emails for days and sometimes weeks. I had an incident during the rental, and the company has absolutely no sense of customer centricity.
Highly not recommended. Rent Enterprice -- its RIGHT next door even though SIXT claims to be closer.

The only good thing about (this) Sixt, is that it's very close to Enterprise Car Rentals. Rent from Enterprise, NOT SIXT!
Sixt refused to rent me a car, due to "security reasons" which the clerk couldn't explain, and her only instruction was to send an [!!!]EMAIL[!!!] to the security department, as she doesn't have a phone number! Must be my second-class Romanian passport, as I have never rented any cars before... This way she set up a barrier which was practically impossible for me to cross, due to time constraints, and basically meant I was not getting any car on that day.
(They also had the nerve to send me an email, inviting me to consider Sixt for my future car rental needs. NEVER!)
So I walked 100 meters to Enterprise and got a car in 15 minutes, without any prior reservations!
