Comfy bed, lovely view. Bath is a good size, which has been really handy because we've done a lot of walking! Staff are polite and friendly and (like everyone in Amsterdam) speak excellent English.

Great staff at the bar! Not fast, but that's because they take their time to talk to and serve all their customers the way it's supposed to be. A gem in Amsterdam

Old school hotel with the great location in the middle of the night area; theatres, consert hall, bars and restaurants. Very good connections to the airport and the city centre

Very well positioned for sightseeing and evening entertainment. Hotel nice, no walk in shower. Lots of steps, not suitable for old or infermed. Staff all helpful, good food.

Pleasant experience overall. Had a very nice bar with a cozy atmosphere, and our room had a decent view over the canal. Loud party boats, poor elevator service and housekeeping waking us up despite a do not disturb sign brought this stay down to 3 stars for me.
