I often rented car with different companies in schipol but with hertz, only problems. Moreover they are very unpolite and unelegant.

arrived at 22:00 as stated, but it took us till 23:30 to get to Thrifty due to border control.
It was closed, no keys left and money was charged from the card. Is this normal?

Did not get a car due to my debit credit card and they kept my 400 EUR!!! Did not even accept cash deposit. Never had proble.s with my card. Bad customer service and policy!!!!
Worst experience. Never again! And i visit anually.
Thrifty counter non existend. You get referred to the Hertz counter with terrible customer service. Stay away from Auto Europe group. All thieves.
Hände weg von der Auto Europe Gruppe! Ich hab kein Auto bekommen und mein
GELD haben die schön eingesteckt. Grund war übrigens meine Debit Kreditkarte, mit der ich nie Probleme hatte. Bar Kaution hat die patzige Dame auch nicht akzeptiert. Lieber etwas mehr bezahlen und zu den seriösen Vermietern hin. Servicewüste Europa. Nie wieder!
