I'd just arrived in Rotterdam while on holidays in Europe. Ah--here's a place, INUL8, that looks like it might be nice for a drink. Really lovely and inviting atmosphere. The staff were on the chilly side, however. I just wanted a beer and was told that the only choice was Heineken. When I showed surprise the waitress said snobbily "This is a WINE BAR." Well, sorry. I guess the 5 meter giant, "Heineken" sign outside made me think there might be a few beers on tap. Also, don't be surprised if the entire wait staff just up and disappears for 15 minutes or so. They just vanished. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The service in this place horrible. It's not uncommon that staff will let you wait 20 minutes before taking your order.
I visited 1nul8 with a group of five people. While entering the terrace I asked a waitress if it was all right if I added a chair to the table with four chairs. She said it was all right. After waiting for service for 15 minutes another waitress told us that the city didn't allow them to add a fifth chair. So we left.
One of multiple examples of the service level at 1nul8. Despite a nice wine selection I won't be coming back.

This is a wine bar with food, not a cocktail bar, although remodeling plans are in the works via their Facebook page so maybe in the future. A very cozy wine bar to sit and relax with friends for drinks and bites. Staff is friendly enough without fawning all over you.

A nice place for wine and tapas - the staff gave us good recommendations for drinks, food was good too. Sitting outside is right on the pavement so it gets crowded and noisy sometimes with the cars passing by or when it's "clubbing night" on Meent (Fridays and Saturdays mostly).
