Come here for fish and chips done the proper way. I've never been dissapointed here. This place has been here ever since I was a little kid and it get quite crowded here, even with bad weather. That's with good reason because the food is good. Ask for a "lekkerbek schotel" and you won't be disappointed. Don't judge a book by its cover; the place doesn't look very fancy but the food is tasty. And to be honest; I don't like a fancy place when I'm here; it's on the corner of the Harbor and it's atmosphere is basic and old-school and fits in with it's surroundings. It's the kind of place where you would imagine fishermen having a beer and some dinner after returning from the sea.

The food is really good. My offer would be to get some kind of digital screen which would indicate the order which is ready. This would take away the part where waiter shouts on all snack bar the number.

I had the Kibbeling and it was very nice. Tasty and hot. Quick service and good prices. The place is clean, tidy and bright. The location near the entrance at Scheveningen harbor is great to watch the boats arrive.
