Overall very good. First time using SIXT. Car was great (Volvo V60), but prices were very high - perhaps I'm used to lower rental car pricing in the US. High-pressure tactics caused us to take their way expensive extra insurance coverage, even though my credit card covers CDW and similar insurance. I commented on this in the survey I took and am requesting a refund on the way too high extra charges (nearly 100 euro for 2 days!!!) Still, good office, friendly and helpful staff. Steven helped us. Good guy, although he was the one who strong-armed us into the extra insurance. I'll go back here again. With my caution about their extra insurance high-pressure sales policy.

First time renting with Sixt, Steven was very helpfull and the customer service was exvellent from start to finish.

Sixt explicitly told me to refill the car with fuel before I would return the car. Else they would charge extra money for the fuel they had to refill, so i did. Eventually I got the receipt for the rental and they charged me extra money for refilling the car themselves. After having contact with costumer service they came up with very vague reasoning how this happened and would back transfer me the money. To me this is a typical scam the company does to earn a little extra.
