Popped in here for a late lunch. The food was really impressive, pleasantly surprised and the best polenta that I've had. The welcome when we arrived was a bit awkward and the service was a little hesitant and distant, overall a very pleasant lunch considering I always thought it was a bar first and foremost.

We went there for my girlfriends birthday and probably wouldn't go back anytime soon. We ordered scallops for entree's, we only got 2 small scallops and 3-4 chicken bites, at $24 was very disappointed. You need to order side dishes for the mains, feels like they are nickel and diming you considering the fillet steak is $45 and you would need to order potatoes to completed the dish. Dessert was very good.

Very poor communication from the functions manager. I was under the impression the function room was available for the date given, then when I called up to check the bank account details I was told it was already booked out. This wasted 10 days of my time, multiple calls and emails to JDV with no response. Very p* off
