Paid $40 for a ticket for an event, completey sober, didn't get let in after waiting in line for 20 Minutes, tryed again in line for over an hour, didn't get let in again.

It does a terrible job of trying to be a student bar. How can you have a bar located right next to all of the university residencies and it be dead on a saturday night unless there is an event running. If students actually want to catch a 15 dollar uber drive to town and back to go to another bar instead of walking for two minuits to the foundry then the foundry by consensus must be terrible. The only time ive seen this bar pumping on thursday, one of the top drinking nights is after pokemon go came out and they were using the lure at the foundry. The one time ive actually seen people genuinely enjoying themselves without the help of some insanely hardcore drug is when max key was here and thats cause hes an absolute joke. Terrible excuse for a student bar.

If you're a student at UC and haven't been to the foundry you are missing out. It can be pretty quiet but the beer is cheap and the chips are the best chips I have ever tasted. Sometimes they close early but have recently been doing cool events like quiz night. Would recommend.
