Excellent service, and great rates as well. The car i got wasn't any thing special but cause i was on my own was perfect. Car worked as it should. Only downside the radio head unit was a little dated so to use my phone for music i needed to a 3.5m to 3.5m cable which isn't included. No biggy a quick stop at a Pak'n Save and $7 later made my trip a whole lot more fun. Would highly recommend lots of different cars for different needs.

It's a pleasure renting off these guys, friendly, quick and professional. Car was in great condition and ran well. Easy pick / drop off and good price.

Though the price was relatively cheap, I think Omega could have done better job checking the car before handing over to customer.
I rent a Mazda Premacy car but only on day 2 while we were driving we heard some noise coming from one of the back wheels. We found that on one tire three screw nods were gone and one screw was broken by half. This issue could be fatal if the wheel would drop while we were driving. We managed to find one repair shop to fix the issue. While the technician removed the tire from our car, I saw the inner parts of the car was covered by lots of mud which means the car maintenance was poorly done. Luckily the repairing didn't delay our trip much.
On the last day I encountered another issue that the car lock couldn't be locked. After trying a few times, I managed to fix the problem.
Low price is good, however, I do suggest Omega do proper check before passing the car to customer especially in New Zealand many places have no repair shops.

I hired three different cars in total and overaĺl i had a good experience.
On the North Island my first car died because the battery was too old. After calling the AA I went back to the office and immediately got a new car. The Service was great! Glad that I was still in Auckland though... when I gave it back in Wellington I even got a ride back to the City Center.
To not pay the ferry I got another car in Picton. The staff was very friendly and even gave me two options of cars.
After a few weeks in Christchurch I got a new one there. Over the next days I sometimes had trouble starting the car and I was a little worried, but without an actual problem the AA couldn't help. In the end it worked though and I got everywhere safely.
Overall the Service was great, the price good and the cars old but alright.

very good. Rented car for five months for long term visit and got a very good deal. Car was several years old with a few minor scratches, but for a fraction of the price of some of the other rental firms. This was their long term budget rental option as opposed to their newer models - however was exactly what I wanted and needed at a great price. Staff in office in both downtown christchurch and airport was great, especially Joe in the downtown office. Would definitely use again.
