One thing that really stands out at this place is the warm, friendly and helpful nature of the staff. I was traveling with a cranky three year old that had been flying all morning and the staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and that my daughter and I were happy. Monica was especially helpful. Don’t let the outdoor appearance fool you. Once you step inside your room it’s wonderful, spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are huge. The bed is comfortable. Don’t know about other reviews of traffic noise. Did not experience any of this. It’s close to everything you want to see also. You can cross the rd, walk through Hagley Park and visit the Canterbury Museum and many other places. Will definitely stay here again.

Favourite place to have a drink and catch up with firneds. Always something happening there. staff and their service are second to non. Recommend you try it, for a drink, a snack, a meal or a function. You'll be very pleased you did!

My husband and I looked on Tripadvisor and found this wonderful restaurant. We ordered a steak each, both medium rare and they were perfectly cooked. Our thanks to the chef!! We will definitely be back next time we're in Chch. We are from Nelson and have been holidaying around the SI. This was our last stop. Very impressed and would highly recommend to everyone - Gavin & Melanie Barr

Modern, clean and tidy. Close to the beautiful central park. Nicely heated at winter days. Very friendly staff. Wifi could be more reliable and the mini fridge less noisy.
