Great spot. Not a lot of room when it's busy but a good atmosphere. I was really impressed with the vegetarian/vegan option I ordered. Best I've had at a bar/restaurant for a while.

Only had the pork belly baos so I can't comment on anything else - but they were incredible! Fluffy, handmade steamed buns (a rarity) with flavours and textures that worked together harmoniously.

Urban is fairly new to Nelson, but has rapidly become the go to place. The food is outstanding, service second to none and the ambiance is fantastic. It does get very busy, so think about heading in early to secure a table, and for a real experience grab a seat at the kitchen bar for a great view of the friendly chefs who will often give you a sample of something that might be appearing on future menus. Highly recommend urban, however it does come at a bit of a cost!
