This evening I had the ignominious pleasure of dining at your establishment in Pahia.
As a brief background, I have returned to NZ for a short break as I have been traveling around the world for the past four years, dining in all sorts of places, I am more than qualified to comment on your restaurant.
The dining experience that my five guests and I received was embarrassing and would rate as the worst I have ever experienced.
I did not berate your serving staff, as that is not my style AND its not their fault, it is your fault as their managers, hence my email.
We arrived at 7:30, and after some lengthy discussion were ushered to our table. No special table needed to be set up. Much waiting, even more waiting, then some more waiting, the people who arrived after us were served before us. Seriously it took your staff 45 minutes to serve the bread! And almost as long for a drink.
In hindsight we should have walked out.
The wait was extraordinary, your "Emmanuel" drinks waiter would often scurry past our table and promise that a waitress would come soon. Why he could not take an order for drinks is hard to fathom. Can't be trusted with a pen and paper?
Your staff ALL run around like headless chooks, they move far too fast, they make everyone uncomfortable, their manner is terse in taking the order and literally threw the food onto the table. I would not be surprised if the Emmanuel type waiter and the Dragonesque waitress were a married couple, with their retarded daughter running the till. Where on earth did you find them?
Your restaurant was not even full.
And honestly where do you get off charging an additional $5 for fries with a lamb shank and then not even providing the mash!
Totally a rip off, you should not be in the service business.
The food was totally overwhelmed by the crap service, the total experience was rubbish.
Yes ........ we were asked "How did you like the meal (millisecond pause) THANKYOU!" by the retarded till jockey. This hardly qualifies as an ISO9000 customer feedback form does it.
Vilda & Brian, we were looking forward to enjoying a nice meal, 3-4 bottles of wine, instead we were rushed into reducing our starters, only one bottle of wine (six people) and didn't even bother with attempting desert. Honestly we could not wait to get out of your place.
Your loss, my five friends will tell five friends etc etc. You do not deserve to be in business.
My advice would be employ some trained 'young' people with personality and enthusiasm and put your current staff back in the home where you found them.
