The staff at this clinic were so friendly and helpful. I felt in very safe hands, with every step of the procedure being very clearly explained to me, by Andrew, Marcus, and Josie. Michelle's follow ups were reassuring and thorough - great spost-op service. A wonderful team of people!

Getting SMILE laser eye surgery was probably one of the best and most exciting life changes I've ever made. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner...! I love having perfect vision, free of the hassle and expense of contacts or glasses. Now I can jump into the sea, run in the rain (!) and sleep out under the stars, unencumbered. To anyone even vaguely thinking of getting laser surgery: do it. You won't regret it.
The service I got from Wellington Eye Centre was impeccable from start to finish. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, informative and reassuring. I felt in very safe hands the whole time. The surgery itself was quicker than I'd expected. I'll be honest - it's a bizarre experience! Not painful, just briefly uncomfortable and odd. But again, I felt safe and the results have been amazing. The aftercare I received in the year following the surgery was thorough and supportive and quickly became like visiting old friends...! I had a few nervous moments in the first couple of months where my eye irritation flared up a little, but the experts were always on hand to give advice and I could schedule an extra appointment whenever I wanted. The eye irritation, by the way, was normal and to be expected. With time and the helpful suggestions and ministrations of Michelle and Dr Logan the irritation reduced and disappeared. Believe me, it's worth putting up with a little dry-eye for results like I've got!

This is possibly the closest I have come to a miraculous act. The whole process, from assessment, the operation itself, the follow-up, and of course the results. I now have 20/20 vision without glasses, and it has made my life a whole lot easier. Definitely worth the money.
