Overall, I enjoyed the floating session but I didn't like the customer service. Customer service wasn't very professional (including at Women's Expo) and I felt very rushed after my session was finished. I am thinking to try floating at the Cuba street float centre.

Shabby. Float area noisy and smelly, pods leak light, which is bad enough, but service is next level poor. Twice I was scheduled for a massage, twice I turned up and was told I couldn't have it by amused staff. First denied a refund for the massage, then on seeing my public complaint owner promised a refund & two free massages. It's 3 weeks later now and still waiting for all that. I paid for a massage but instead got a funny story about a "relaxation" service that (judging by other reviews) causes more stress than it relieves X-D

I had a float session last year. In general it was good. My only problem (as a couple of people mention it in other reviews) is the customer service. It was really stressful to have to reschedule (because unexpectedly I presented a problem listed as "do not come to have a float if...") and being told they'll charge me $20 for that. I had to explain to them over the phone and on written an I didn't choose to get ill, hat I was on my way to the appointment but according to their rules I couldn't actually float.
I felt stressed and "punished" for having to reschedule but they wrote the rules and trust me... you don't get sick to void having a relaxing 60 min float and some "me time"

I've floated many times before. My experience at Floatpod has been very disappointing. I felt the staff had no idea what they were doing. I started my float and 15 minutes in the music came on (I generally don't like music to start) taking me right out. Another 20 minutes later and again I got disturbed, the music from the tank in the next room came on as the customer was late. It startled me and that was the end of my supposed 90 minute float. I came out 35 minutes early, not having been able to enjoy it. I was given a voucher to come back, and the second time it was the same story again.
The facilities are great but the float experience is ruined by their setup they didn't know how to control, the lack of complete sensory deprivation (light seeping in, very noisy environment).
Overall a disappointing experience.

I was given a voucher for Christmas to float at Saltpod. I have floated regularly for the past two years so know what to expect. My experience at Saltpod was disappointing. I could clearly hear traffic noise through the earplugs and the high-up open window, the room smelt like a hot yoga studio (musty), the float pod temperature was too warm and there was light visible even when the pod lid was closed. One of the reasons people float is to shut off sensory input to allow full relaxation. This is not able to happen if there are noises, smells, lights and if the temperature of the solution is above body temperature. I actually finished my session early because of all of the extra sensory stimulation and my inability to switch it off. I gave feedback to reception as to why I finished early, hopefully these things can be rectified.
