The restaurant is very beautiful, however the service and the food were poor. We stayed at the Pelican Hotel for 4 nights and had the breakfast included. It was such bad food that on the second morning we walked out and went into town to eat somewhere else. The staff never acknowledged our presence without us having to flag someone down and insist on being seated. The 2nd day at breakfast while we were attempting to eating the tasteless cuisine we discovered they had run out of most of the items. We asked when they were going to bring out more food and they said they weren't....it was 9:15 am! If you choose to stay here, save yourself the headache and eat elsewhere. Anywhere.
