We were there when they opened up around 2008. Bought three different pizzas. I remember the pizzas didn`t feel properly cooked. We all got sick (loose stomach reacting to some type of bacteria thing and waking up in the middle of the night having to go to the loo type of sick) Now i went back there twice in 2017, almost 10 years later thinking i would give them the benefit of the doubt. First time was an italian pizza served by a foreign guy in his 50`s. Good pizza and no ill aftereffects. Went back the next week and ordered an american pizza from a middleaged female, probably eastern european. Although the pizza was ok/good, i got sick again just like the first time i was there. I never get sick of pizzas but there`s always the exception to the rule. Three strikes - Never again :(

Best pizza in Alesund. Was highly recommended to us by an American we met in the skybus on our way from Airport to city centre.. I'm glad we took his advise to come here 😋 Menu is only in Norwegian but u can always seek help from the Owner she's very helpful. Reasonably priced.

Great plaze with amazing pizza. Just make sure that you pickup the Italian style ones.
FYI: Steinovnen translates to "Stone oven", its as simple as that.
Ps. Palermo (#9 i think) is awesome!

10 March 2017 - perfect place, very reasonably priced (compare to many other places in expensive Norway), very fast service, pizza baked in real oven with real fire - smooth and tasty - exactly what you need to warm up in cold Norway. As pizzeria - highly recommended!
