Not the hotels fault but it clearly aims at the budget traveller and as such groups of kids having parties outside their rooms making lots of noise and a bit of drunken abuse. I imagine the same lot were responsible for setting off the fire alarm the next day by smoking inside and as I was in the bath I wasn't amused. The 5th floor is to be avoided. Miles from reception and no daylight except into the foyer. No net curtians to hide you from the other rooms looking in so the thick curtains closed and it felt like a prison cell. Really lovely staff however!!! Not a place for discerning grown ups.

Ok sized and look on the room. Comfortable beds, but the wifi signal was so weak it was almost impossible to get a signal. The breakfast was the basic bland breakfast you'll get anywhere else.

The location is great. The hotel is located about 5 minutes away from the train station. There is no distracting noise from the surroundings. Only some low ambient noise, which is to be expected from a 5 story building. When checking in we were greeted by a pleasent smile, and were quickly assigned our rooms. The stay was further enhanced by the easy to talk to staff and diverse buffet breakfast. The rooms were clean and rather cozy. When checking out there were no troubling incidents, rather the countary. When asked, they granted us a late check out at a low price. Would definiantly reccomend Comfort Hotel Kristiansand to my friends and family. Pleasent stay.

In my room, which did not even had a window (!!) I did not have the room to open my suitcase. The card key elevator system, worked once every 10 times. Public areas left dirty ( same paper on the floor in the morning and same evening.... Only breakfast was good, but forget the rest

Nice rooms with easy parking. Great for travelling with kids, especially when headed to Denmark.
