Good traditional Norwegian food! Pinnekjøtt at Christmas was and the staff very friendly. Not cheap given the venue, but overall a wholesome local experience.

Love the calm, relaxing atmosphere of this place. Cold beer, good burger with fresh ingredients and awesome sauces. I totally recommend! :)

From the outside the place looks a bit hokey... but honestly the food is great! It's the kind of food I'd imagine my grandmother would have made 60 years ago and they are still doing it today which I think is great. Not the most modern food but very authentic and good. Staff was very nice. Restaurant was filled with older Norwegian people so I took that as a good sign.

Very "like mother cooked it" traditional food. Quick service, and friendly. I was there in summer, so i guess in Winter it must be a busy cozy place. If you look for traditionel food, go for it. If you look for modern cuisine, you may not like it.

Traditional Norwegian Food - not of the best quality if you are after fine dining. The reason to give this a 4 is that the food is cheap in Norwegian terms, and if you are into Jo Nesbø books this is where Harry Hole sat and came up with some of his sollutions to different crimes. So just because of the Harry Hole books and the old traditional atmosphere it gets a 4. There used to be a lot of these restaurants around town, but they have all closed - one after one. The most famous ones around this area was Schrøder, Tranen(totally refurbished now) and Becker´s, which now is the Vinmonopolet (Wine monopoly) at Grünerløkka.
