You have Østbanehallen in the same building. Go there, The actual Oslo S is nothing worth spending time in. There's a lot of sketchy people hanging around there. Spend you time at Østbanehallen instead for a great food experience. For shopping, Byporten is far superior, and thats also in the same building/connected building.

Nice place in the station. It doesn't look like a train station but a mall. Good restaurant maybe less shops. But a cozy place to spend an afternoon or a lunch in a rainy day. The place is very near the main street
