Quiet place , ideal for relaxation after touring around cusco.
I stayed 2 nites after 5 day trekking to machu picchu.

The staff are friendly but this old hostel has the worst mattres I ever had.
Rooms with no window and you can hear everything from the other rooms.
Not recommended.

One of the best hostels we've stayed in. Rustic appearance, very clean, and very well priced for the location. The staff are all friendly and can answer a number of questions, or call someone to find what you need. The best thing about this hostel was the breakfast : fresh crusty bread, a few varieties of jam, several types of tea, and a plate of eggs cooked to order. It started off every day we spent there on a great note.

Adorable hostel with rooms reminiscent of those in old English inns and taverns. Things may look a bit old, but hot water and restrooms work great. Staff are also lovely, and breakfast consists of bread, butter, toast, yogurt, a local type of granola, and eggs. The only downside is that the rooms on the street can sometimes be a bit noisy, not because the street gets so much traffic as much as tour agencies for some destinations (like rainbow mountain) will pick up guests at 3 am and insist on honking until the person comes out. This is a problem everywhere in Cusco though.

We had a great stay here. We arrived on an early morning flight and since they had an open room, they were able to check us in early. Fantastic bed, good wifi, and free pisco sours at 9pm! The breakfast is eggs, fresh bread, cereal, and yogurt and the staff were lovely! They saw me shivering while eating breakfast and without a word, carried a gas heater in and set it up next to me. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Only downside is street noise, but that's what you get when staying downtown. Highly recommend!
