I had tooth filling and cleaning performed by Ronajane Arcilla in SM Cebu and the experience is painful, the charge is expensive (3000). The worst of all is that after I went home that day I felt a painful and tingling sensation on my tooth everytime I chew. Even soft food is causing me pain, so I chewed in the other side instead. I was not able to set a follow up check up because I went to the province to spend my holiday vacation. When I went back to Citydent, she checked my tooth and she told me to have it x-rayed. She explained based on the xray result that the nerve is touching the base of the tooth filling and adviced me to have a root canal operation which would cost me 8000 plus 7000 tooth crown.
I asked if it is my fault that I didn't demand for an xray first or is it her assessment that went wrong. She and her assistants even charged me 400 for the xray printout because I demanded to get it to seek 3rd opinion from other dentists. The experience in Citydent is aweful, but I don't know, maybe because I was just unlucky to fall unto the hands of this dentist. By the way, it is still painful now, so I am planning to have it extracted instead of spending more.
