Service like no other!
The nurses and staff was so helpfull, polite, responsible as ever.
Private rooms (246) has 2 beds, one for patient. One long chair with a refrigerator. You have to pay for pillows at 200.00
Food is great considering it is a hospital. They have healthy drink in each meal.
You cannot bring plastic cellophane inside the establishment.
ATM available just at the main entrance.
A good parking area.
Over all, you'll be treated here with respect, professionalism!

Long before I visited Iligan City, I learned as much as possible about it on the internet from my home on the other side of the world. My research paid off when on my 7th visit in 2012 I came down with pneumonia. I knew right where to go. There are many medical facilities in Iligan City and Adventist Medical Center ( formerly known as Mindanao Sanitarium Hospital or " MSH " ) is a top rated ISO certified hospital and medical facility.
I was offered a private room for the equivalent of $52 US Dollars per night. A real bargain compared to an equivalent hospital room in the USA. Air Con, and TV included. Landline phone also which I did not use. Private bathroom with the room but bring your own paper, soap and other supplies.
I felt I received excellent care in this hospital and they had me in and out of there in 5 days.
Philippine hospitals work a bit differently than USA Hospitals. You or someone you designate have to go and purchase medications etc. from the in house pharmacy or any of the nearby ones such as across the street or about a mile down the road.
This hospital is very clean to the eye, the buildings and grounds are very well maintained. When I stay in hotels in Philippines I usually take a look at the filters in the air conditioners and my room at this hospital was no exception. The filter was clean and the inside of the air conditioner was in like new condition.
My private room had window with a nice view that could be opened for fresh air if desired. The bathroom had a very effective exhaust fan.
I was treated very well in this hospital, not like just another number or just another parient. All of the staff was polite and friendly. I enjoyed many conversations with the nursing and support staff while I was there.
The bill for my hospital stay was about $1000 USD payable before discharge from the hospital. They accept cash and credit cards. Medications cost me less than $200 USD some purchased at the in house pharmacy and others from outside pharmacies.
On each of my visits since then I have chosen to have my annual physical exam at this facility. For me it is a lot more convienient than having it done here in the USA. Although they do not directly accept foreign insurance, the cost is low compared to the USA so I don't mind paying it out of pocket.
This is a full service medical facility including emergency dept. Radiology, Labs, Dental, Operating Rooms, etc. There is also a college associated with this hospital which is highly rated as educational facilities go.
I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to foreign tourists and visitors should you need any medical assistance while visiting Iligan City or nearby localities.
