This Cathedral is located in Intramuros area, and you can take MRT to Taft Avenue and walk here. This holy place is so enchanting and its architecture amaze me.

Doors are often closed when there's no Mass, even if it is still daylight. It is more of a tourist attraction now rather than a place where you can really get to talk to Him. Perhaps the priests just want to preserve the cleanliness and structural integrity of this historic church? I think there has to be balance—between letting people pray inside and letting people appreciate its beauty.

It is one of the oldest cathedral in the Philippines and its fascinating that it is still standing. The interior is so amazing thsy it looks like you are in midieval period in a way. . .

I never thought it was an old church. So blessed to attend the mass here. Homily was so fitting as it was about God's invitation.

This cathedral has been beautifully restored for everyone to appreciate for its grandeur and religious importance. I used to come here (and Intramuros) at least every month to just enjoy everything about it - the art, the architecture, the vibe and even pray a little. If you are a tourist, make sure to include this in your itinerary!
