As a male student dominated by an all girls environment, I've found out that these girls aren't your average stereotype 'kolehiyala.' Compared to those I know from 'still' exclusive all girls (Miriam, Assumption etc.) They are much more grown & grounded knowing that a number of testosterones invaded their campus.
Some of them are still the 'usual'... snobbish, sophisticated and arrogant mean girls but i'm telling you, they are quite few now.
St. Paul also made sure that being Christ-centered would still be evident in our everyday lives. (Retreats, Daily Masses, first friday mass, marian camp, etc.) Academic wise, they are at par with the bigger universities. Passing grade is apparently higher than some schools i encountered. Also, Their extra-curricular doesn't really bother much with the class schedules. (If you have trainings for varsity then you are excused but not until A valid permit is presented)
But what makes this LRT university a let down is their facilities. Sisters' claims that there is no need of renovating the buildings and class rooms since it is part of history. True, but that would mean danger to those students in the long run. Creaky floors, leaking aircons, crooked chairs and filthy comfort rooms. The cafeteria food is priced too high (good thing they got rid of Chits) knowing there are less choices even. Some of the professors play favoritism (what school doesn't). And of course, the miscellanous and "extra" fees that needs to be shouldered by the students. I call BS when we need to pay student activities. Isn't this part of their high tuition??
Anyway, bottom line here is it's a surprise for some people knowing that I came from a then-all girls school, but that didn't hinder my chance at landing a goob job because I know, this institution may have a good or bad reputation to some, but St. Paul made me who am I today. Thank you for the memories, tipol!

Almost went to this college. It was an all girl college but they are now accepting the male counterpart.
