This is the Only place you should stay when in the Philippines! Unbelievable breakfast buffet!! Nice clean large rooms. Great customer service and you can exchange currency at the front desk. The lounging areas are great and always something to drink close at hand.

Stayed in several hotels in the Philippines and Sofitel is one of my favorite. Staff are very friendly and provided prompt and excellent service. Make sure you asked for the newly renovated rooms which are located in the upper floors or else you will be disappointed since the room we stayed 2 weeks prior was in bad shape. Breakfast buffet was included in our stay and it was excellent. Plenty of foreign and domestic options. We even tried their lunch buffet and it was an excellent choice. If you have kids, they have a nice pool area for them play and for the parents to relax.

We stayed at the Sofitel twice on our Philippines holiday, and was so glad we booked this hotel. The hotel itself and grounds are very well maintained, and the staff are just the friendliest.
The rooms where very large and comfortable, stocked with everything you'd usually get. There was a small balcony which provided a great view of the city
The food was amazing, the buffet breakfast has to be the best I've experienced on any holiday so far. The cocktails where also to die for.
The big thing here is the staff, how friendly they are, and that they go out of their way to ensure you have the best stay. I could not have asked for anything more from them, they treated me like family.

My request that we be given a room fronting the pool and the bay during my wife's birthday was instantly granted without any issue. We were also given a complimentary wine by the housekeeper. Aside from that, my request for a late check out as Accor member was likewise granted by the staff. I just hope that they get to clear out with Spiral the proper computation for service charge. The hotel, however, resolved the same in my favor, but this is after I've called their attention about it. This happened twice during my two separate stay in the hotel this October 2017.

Was expecting some really awesome service, food and amenities as I did the last time I was here some years back. Food and service didn't disappoint, specially the breakfast buffet! Awesomely good and the variety was great.
Room was a bit "ordinary" and did not have that elegant or 5-star appeal, although perhaps I was lodged in the "old" or rundown wing.
But was also unpleasantly surprised to learn that I would be charged an amount if I just borrow a plate to use in my room. I had something to eat which I bought outside, and the fee was even more expensive than the food I was going to partake! First time I experienced this in all my years of travels and hotels I used -- be they inns, pensions, boutiques or 5-6-star -- around the world!!
And since you are a French entity, might be consistent to also have a "bidet" in the toilet. Asians in particular would appreciate this very much.
Appreciated the kindness and flexibility of the duty manager at the time of my check-out who allowed me a modest additional time.
