It may be due to summer season coming to an end, the place was empty, staff didn't really seem to care. Lift broke down on arrival, so we had a gauntlet getting to our room on the top floor. When the lift was fixed, the floor of it was covered in towels soaking something up, no idea what? We couldnt use the minibar because we paid for the room in cash... upfront, so the receptionist immediately called maintenance to have it locked. Probably not the best action if in height of summer when people might benefit from whatever fridge space there may be. Breakfast was a big let down with the final nail in the coffin being a cake that was so old and dry that it disintegrated in my hands... completely inedible. The hotel does have a great location, pleasant interiors and a swimming pool, saunas and Jacuzzi pool. The rating really hangs on the experience... I was disappointed given it was my first trip to Rzeszow for a relaxing weekend away.

I have been staying at Grand Hotel Rzeszów since 2009. It is consistently one of the best hotels that I have encountered in years of domestic and international business travel. The reception staff is absolutely outstanding, the rooms are large and comfortable, and the environment is warm and welcoming. There are hotels in Rzeszów that claim to be 5 star, but the Grand is providing 5 star service every day!! I highly recommend this hotel!!

Unbelievably good hotel. Excellent staff, friendly and helpful. They cannot do enough for you, really, they were wonderful. The rooms are super clean and really well appointed. Its got a great central location and a great nightclub in the basement. It was just simply the best hotel I've stayed in.
