One of the best museums I've ever been to. Excellent exhibits that fully immerse you into the climate of the time. It does an exceptional job at recreating the emotions and mentality of varsavians during occupation. It is very moving. Highly recommend taking the audio tour for the full experience. Very well narrated. I recommend seeing this museum first when coming to Warsaw. The symbol of the Polish uprising can be seen everywhere in the city if you look carefully (usually followed by a little paragraph about someone who died there protecting Polish literature or culture during the war). You'll be able to appreciate how much history surrounds you with every step!

Prepare at least 2 hours. Nice interactive museum with a lots of multimedia. 3D movie of bombarded Warsaw as seen from the plane. Highly recommended. All info available in English as well as guides.

One of the best museums I have ever been. Very interesting topic and very well done. They have some days you can get free entrance, but it might be very crowded, I think it's really worth it to pay the entrance fee and take a couple of hours to see everything.

Must go if you were to visit Warsaw. Spend almost half a day here and is not enough! It detailed the Warsaw uprising in a chronological and interactive manner that made the whole experience simply wonderful and easy to understand. Well curated museum that simply too good to be missed.

Lots of really interesting content, well presented. The layout was a bit confusing, could have done with more indication of the order in which to read things. I ended up reading lots of things out of order and having to remember all the dates so I could arrange them correctly in my head. I thought the museum of the Polish Jews was a bit better at leading you through the story in that regard. Still, an enjoyable visit.
