The interior pine wood finishing feels like home. The pantry/kitchen facilities are marvellous

Pros: not expensive; a nice cozy room; there is a trail starting close to the hostel.
Cons: very smelly tap water (undrinkable as for me); far from the main attractions of Zakopane; noisy (can hear everything through the walls).

The water from the tap was advertised as "live", "cristal clear" water from a well. I have tried tap water in many different countries in many different places. This was the first time it tasted so bad I could not drink it. I would avoid even washing dishes with this water (not to mention about taking a shower, or brushing teeth, or washing hands) because of the bad smell which stays for some time.

Another disappointing thing was that the stuff was not very helpful with explaining how to get to/from the hostel. Before arriving they give us just one name of the bus. There are schedules for two buses hanging on the wall in the hostel. But later we found that there are more buses connecting the hostel and the touristic Zakopane.

Planned 2 night , stayed for 4 nights. Amazing family hotel. Got my nice little parking in yard, they gave me maps and tips to explore around. The owner was away too often, i regret not having an opportunity to have a beer with that guy. Allthough, other people (2 australians, 1 taiwaneese and 2 belgians) were awesome! Had a lot of fun together, explored for 4 days as a team in fact, together 24/7. Allthough if you're not social, not a team player and just willing to sleep, this is not a place for you. The noise just passes through the walls, and it's gonna disturb you

Awesome hostel. The owner was super friendly and even helped us chop some wood to build a fire in the backyard one night. Great vibe, great place.
