Interesująca świątynia, do której powinno się wejść w drodze do ogrodu botanicznego. W sierpniu - w czasie odpustu - tłumy, ale nic dziwnego, bo pięknie.

If you're lazy you could consider taking the cable car, however the climb is overcriticized and not so dramatic as described by others. The church has an interesting history and it takes additional 74 steps up to get to it. Excellent rooftop views, you could try out the toboggans on the way back.

Schöne Kirche. Super ist der Blick von der Dachterrasse aus auf Funchal.
Hier liegt auch der letzte Österreichischer Kaiser Karl I, der die letzten Lebensjahre in Monte lebt.
