Just the most beautiful place to visit, x relax. Staff so very friendly and helpful. With the addition of columbo in the amazing gardens. Just like paradise.

Stunning hotel, excellent service throughout the hotel. Food has been exquisite and 5 stars for accommodating my gluten and dairy issues!

Five star hotel and five star service. Food is gourmet, no large portions, real quality. Children allowed but this is a lovely quiet hotel aimed at adults. Beautiful gardens with many different species. Easy to find a poolside lounger. Came here on honeymoon and absolutely no regrets. Staff are attentive, helpful and most important make you feel totally welcome regardless of background. PS there is a celebrity onsite. A tortoise called Columbo over 50 yrs old and going strong. Update - First anniversary visit and just as amazing as last year.

Only arrived on Thursday but so far exceeding our expectations. A very intimate residence with stunning gardens and views of Funchal. All of the staff are very pleasant and we are looking forward to our two weeks in paradise.
