We stayed here earlier this year on one of our many trips to Madeira. Downtown by the sea. Perfect views from the large terrace. Great to have a pool, even in February when we stayed. Lots of attention to detail, stylish decoration, friendly service from Agostina, cosy and just the base we wanted. Highly recommend.

Amazing stay with Funchal Cottages. Its the second time we´ve stayed and loved the Painters Cottage. Located in a quaint old part of Funchal close to all the action of the old town restaurants and seaside. We get the best of both worlds and will be back again for sure.
