Planned to stay at Lagos Marina Guest House for 2 nights, but ended up staying a full week, and it was mostly because of how much of a good time I had at the hostel. The staff is all incredible. They made me feel like a part of the family. One night they made us all a fresh salad with veggies from they're garden, and homemade wine. I still remember how good those tomatoes were!
The place is clean, the wifi is strong, the showers are clean, hot, and with good pressure.
Their terrace is perfect for getting to know fellow travellers, over some Sagres, and wine. I made some good friends there, that 3 months later, I'm still in touch with.
I stayed in a lot of hostels in Portugal, but none made me feel at home the way the staff here, did. I don't normally write reviews, but I absolutely owe it to them for the awesome time they made sure I had there.
Lagos is beautiful. This hostel is the one to stay at. You'll be hard-pressed to find better value.
I honestly can't wait to come back, and see everyone again!

It's a bit of a walk from the center and beaches but very cozy and affordable. Large outdoor terrace and equipped kitchen.

Overall we had a great stay at this hostel. It was very clean and the ladies who were there were very good to us. One of our party had a sun allergy and they brought her special creams and took care of her. We were staying in the room at the entrance so we had a bathroom and the terrace for ourselves. We paid 15 euros a night so it was really cheap for us and since we had a car it was very quick to get to the center. Would come again.
