DONT RECOMMEND, got BED BUGS my first night, Staff offered to wash sheets and wash all my clothes, after this happened night 2, i physically caught the bug and took it to staff, They said they would report to boss (MAMMA) i woke up inflamed with bugs BITES all over me, having to get multiple creams and antibiotics, requested to change rooms but was unable to as it was full, so they moved me to another bed in the room, in alot of pain unable to enjoy my time in LAGOS, night 3 i requested a refund or half a refund at least as i was unable to sleep and unable to do anything in lagos because of pain, Day 3 - last day! - i was hospitalised and got a steroid shot as well as multiple blood tests and steroid tablets, requested a partial refund and MAMMA was very rude about it stating that stuff happens in hostels etc, not happy with the service at all and not giving it a star because it doesn't deserve anything.

Hereby Reviewing the Rising Cock Booze cruise. I have not stayed at the hostel!
1.) Booze cruise ended 1 hour early, no compensation was given.
2.) Beer was inadequately cooled, its not really fun to drink lukewarm beer in the heat. Staff brings beer on the boat warm and its put in a big water bucket with some ice to cool down. Obviously you cant cool hundreds of beers with one big bag of ice within minutes. 60 minutes into the tour the beers werent cold anymore.3.) Not a cruise, boat is ancored a mile down the marina 4.) No dedicated soundsystem, just a speaker trolley that tour guides use. Overall low value for money. especially considering that the beer is a cheap discount beer. Should be priced around 30 EUR maximum and only really doable if you bring a cooler and some ice.
Management didnt respond to my request concerning a partial refund considering that the tour ended prematurely.
Giving two stars as the staff was nice and motivating.

Great hostel environment if you want to party with other travelers. Pub crawl every day with fun staff. Stellar breakfast and a good location.

OK simply this place is good if you are party animal other than that it is not work
So if you just like party but not a party animal then maybe it is not that much
The hostel encourage drinking , and people start drinking as early as 8am
Kitchen very small and common area small as well
Staff are nice , the lady who prepare the breakfast is cool
Bathrooms not much clean

Great place to stay with plenty of bar crawls , booze cruises and very friendly staff. Mama always makes crepes every morning for us hungover lads! Although not having AC in the rooms during summer can make it pretty hard to sleep
