This is a high price, high end wellness centre. They try hard and talk a good story but cannot deliver on truly high end services. So they under deliver on services.
I came to our room which was beautifully appointed with a beautiful view of the pool and the Ocean. It was very cold in the room because Air conditioned system was on and would not swith off, so tried to turn it off and turn it on the heating cycle. Did not work. Called front desks to see if they could remedied the problem. They could not! Asked to change room and they would not do that. We had basically had to freeze in our room to the a point where we had to asked for lots of blankets just to stay warm. Needless to say we had a terrible night. So in the morning i had to be firm with the hotel staffs to change room. They did absolutely nothing to help or make things better with our luggages. So this is a wellness center that really market themselves well by overpromissing and under delivering. They need to review how they deliver customer services to their client. You go to a wellness center to be pampered and in exchange you pay for this type of services. They will gladly take your money but will be reluctant to deliver. So be aware when you book at Cascade.

great fixtures and fitiings. unfortunatly let down by rip off prices for food and drink.

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and enjoyed it! The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very nice/helpful. "Portuguese night" at the main restaurant was fun and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The main pool was nice and relaxing as well, though a little cold for our liking. We loved how centrally located the resort is to both old town Lagos and several great beaches. Overall, this is a great place and we can't wait to come back!

1-bedroom apartment was clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Big pool, not too busy and perfect for young kids.

We stayed two nights. One night we had to stay in one of the appartments as the hotel was full. This is also the reason I deduct 1 star as it was the first hotel I actually decided to sleep outside the room as it didn't smell good. Otherwise the hotel is nice with a good location and a very nice pool.
