Heavenly home made food! I had to get 2 main courses to have enough. Their vegetable lasagna is amazing!

Lovely place with lots of options and very affordable. Always eat there when I'm in the area and highly recommend it.

Thank you guys for the friendly service and putting up with the kids. What a lovely place for a break in beautiful Belem with good food to boot. We will be back. Good luck in the future

Avoid if possible. The food is not good..there was a selection of salads on display but it was impossible to pick and choose what I wanted myself. Instead I was told that certain salads went with certain dishes. Had the beef and it was tough and unappetising. Salad was not much better. The potatoes were ok but overall the food was the worst we had in Lisbon. Also very expensive. Completely over priced. Such a shame after a lovely day in the museum. The noise of the chairs scraping against the floor every time someone moved them was excruciating. Overall a very unpleasant and disappointing dining experience. If you appreciate good food and flavours this place is not for you. Would not recommend.

Expensive, unfriendly, loud and average to poor food. Not at all enjoyable.

EDIT:
As the manager decided to respond I would like to go into more detail. When I left my review I was on my phone and didn't want to type much. It says a lot that the managers first sentence in his response was to in a nice way say I was lying. Please try to take on some feedback from the recent reviews you are receiving.

Expensive: Eating in this cafeteria was more expensive than restaurants with incredible food I ate at while in Lisbon.

Unfriendly: We felt rushed, deals pushed before we knew what the menu contained, one word answers, no manners.

Loud: chairs were cheap and on the tiled floor every time someone got up or re-positioned a chair it was really loud. You are correct it is busy so chairs moved a lot and it was extremely loud. Not major but it just compounded my annoyance with everything else in this place.

Average to poor food: Beef was salty and tough and not nice at all. Server advised that we had no choice of sides to have with it except potatoes and side salad so there was little choice also. Potatoes were actually OK. Didn't finish my meal and I was hungry.

Bottom line this is a tourist trap in a popular part of Lisbon. Not too far away ( a 2 minute walk) you will find reasonable priced and nice restaurants in Belem. I stand by everything in my original review.
