Pessimo Trattamento. Ho ritirato la macchina senza controllo con 3/4 di pieno, l' ho comunicato al ritiro e fatto una foto con il cellulare, ma alla consegna mi hanno addebitato benzina e penale, nonostante la mia documentazione, sincera e educata.A quanto pare, vedo che è una abitudine frequente
Complimenti a Europcar di LISBONA. MAI PIU'

I rented a car for two days for 42 euros. I returned the car clean and full tank. I received an email with the invoice of 92 euros. They charged me 50 euros more for a cleaning fee of 15 euros, when on the check out paper of the vehicle it had been pointed out that the cleaning was ok + young driver fee of 12 euros when in the terms and conditions of the reservation the amount for being under 25 years was already included in the value of the reservation and 23 euros for a fee that would allow me to return the vehicle with the empty tank, but I was asked to return it with the full tank, fact that made me spend money twice with the fuel. So far I could not get the 50 euros back, even having spoken with the manager and the company director who only offered me a car upgrade and one day for free on the next booking. I intend to go to court and do not recommend the company to anyone.

Aluguei um carro por dois dias por 42 euros. Devolvi o carro limpo e com tanque cheio. Recebi um e-mail com a fatura de 92 euros. Cobraram-me 50 euros a mais por uma taxa de limpeza de 15 euros, quando no papel de check out do veículo havia sido assinalado que a limpeza estava ok + taxa de condutor jovem de 12 euros, quando nos termos e condições da reserva o valor por ser menor de 25 anos já estava incluso no valor da reserva e 23 euros por uma taxa que me permitiria devolver o veículo com o tanque vazio, mas foi-me pedido para devolvê-lo com o tanque cheio, fato que me fez gastar duas vezes: com a taxa e com o combustível. Até agora não consegui os 50 euros de volta, mesmo tendo falado com o gerente e o diretor da empresa que apenas me ofereceu um upgrade de carro e um dia de graça na próxima reserva. Pretendo entrar na justiça e não recomendo a empresa a ninguém.

In short, we had the worst possible experience renting a vehicle from one of your Lisbon, Portugal locations.

In detail, we reserved our 7-seater more than 2 months in advance and PAID IN FULL (US $961.01) at that time. We reserved at Lisboa Airport Shuttle P. Velho thinking that this is the location at the airport. I submitted our flight information including the arrival time which was 6:40 pm.

When we arrived at Lisbon airport with our 2 small children, ages 4 and 7, there was a strike at immigration. It took us one hour to make it through the line. We reached the Europcar airport kiosk at approximately 7:50 pm. At this time we were informed that our reservation was not at the airport, it was at a location 2 km from the airport and that that location closes at 8 pm, and that we would not be able to arrive on time. The manager (Nuno Borges) was quite unpleasant and condescending, but he spoke to the other office and assured us that the reservation at the other location would be held until the next day.

We then took our tired children who had been traveling for over 16 hours to wait in a taxi line that took approximately 45 minutes and cost us an additional 35 Euros.

The next day we called Europcar and they told us that they see our reservation in the system but that we would need to come in after 2 pm. After 2 pm we called and were told that they would not have the car until the following day.

The following day when we called we were told our reservation had been cancelled due to us not showing up to pick up the car. After speaking with a manager, explaining all that had happened, and demanding either the car or a full refund, the manager instructed us to go pick up the car at that moment. We hailed a taxi (another 35 Euros) and rushed to the location 25 minutes away.

Upon arriving, we were told that the manager should never have said to come, as our reservation was still showing up as cancelled and there was nothing they could do. I mentioned that I could see the actual vehicle we had rented in the parking lot and that my family had been through a tremendous ordeal already, so we really needed to leave with the car. The person at the counter then quoted us a price that was more than twice what we had already paid. Needless to say, we left without the car and spent another 35 Euros on a taxi back to the hotel.

After another phone call, we were able to get our original payment refunded, but Europcar had the audacity to charge us a $50 no-show cancellation fee.

At this time we had spent over 150 Euros and waisted about 5 hours of our family vacation time on this rental car and still HAD NO CAR. Of course, we also had to rent another car from another company and waste more time and money acquiring this new car. Now I arrive home and find that I have a 100 Euro phone bill from trying to get the car that we never received. At the very least, we would like our 250 Euros back.

Si tu vuelo tiene retraso es posible que no tengas tu coche de alquiler hasta el día siguiente. Puesto que no contestan al teléfono.
