Very good staff, well organized. Can be really busy at times but it's understandable during tourist season. I rent from here about once a month and have never had a problem yet.

AVOID THIS RENTAL LOCATION. Used my CC insurance, even provided a letter from my bank explaining coverage, and they still charged me for insurance, had to go back to get them to credit me, then when I returned the car that told me they would charge my CC in Euros (which is what I requested) - when I checked later they had used their conversion rate to $$ and got another $56 from me. $1100 for a 9 day rental. They then told me they would refund the difference, after multiple emails and me sending documentation there is no refund or credit.
The only bright spot is Isabell, who gave us a lot of useful information for driving in Portugal, but unfortunately the shady overcharging side outweighs anything she provides. AVOID THIS LOCATION.

Better/safer than some shady budget car hires, but watch out for hidden fees. Also, customer service gets very busy on weekends in the summer so be prepared to wait in long lines. It took over an hour to process the return!
Be sure to fuel up before returning. There's a petrol station right in front of Hertz but the better value is three blocks up the hill at Oz.
