On November 6, 2017 I had just . The started my vacation and experienced a tear in my tendons that made walking impossible. I was able to get a room at the Czar Lisbon for four nights until I could get a flight back to Canada. The hotel was beyond wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable, the restaurant was good with a very accommodating chef (they modified meals if requested) and they even had lovely entertainment in the lounge on Wednesday evening. The best thing about the hotel was the amazing, kind, helpful, cheerful and wonderful staff. I could not have been in a better place to experience such a miserable end to my vacation. They are all fabulous and I would recommend the property to anyone travelling to Lisbon.

Breakfast was very cool, rooms are super clean and service is great. People working here are really nice. 20min walk to centre. Good place.

Czar Lisbon Hotel is a nice place to stay. The rooms are clean. The personell is kind. The breakfast gives you a suitable range of foods. The surrounding area is ok. A lot of supermerkados but also many poor people.

***Avoid!*** Not a nice location. Very nasty breakfast. Didn't even go down for after the first day. Loud drilling woke us up early in the morning. Went out for the whole day and the room didn't get made. Rang lobby to ask what could be done. Absolutely nothing. The next day they came early in the morning but we were checking out. Room didn't look like the picture as the carpet looked cheap like one you find in an office not like it did on the website. Explained all this to reception in the hope they would at least waiver my parking. Nope. Just for the record I never normally write reviews let alone bad ones but this place was just terrible.
